Review on Sofitel the Palm - Dubai Our best family staycation yet in the UAE.
Family of 5. Children aged between 19 and 9.
We stayed in the 2 Bedroom Apartment. It’s a French Polynesian hotel and from the moment you walk through the big doors into reception you feel like you are on a tropical island somewhere. The staff were all amazing super friendly and very helpful with any questions.
The breakfast was 5 fresh fruits to pick and choose from, anything you can imagine at a buffet breakfast they had.
We spend our days lounging by the pool 1 of 4 to choose from. Plenty of space for everyone to get a lot of sun.
COVID regulations were followed to the T. Eveyone keeping their safe distance and wearing their masks where necessary.
My two teenage boys loved the big Gym with an onsite trainer to guide them. We didn’t make use of all the amenities but there is things to do for everyone. Young or older.
The Apartment is big and spacious with a massive master bedroom and bathroom. Full dining room and a full funtioning kitchen with a washer/dryer. You can cook a full dinner or even bake a cake if you want.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to escape from the desert and have that Tropical island holiday.
There is one thing that bothered me and that was the food on the hotel restaurants, pool bar and room service menu was extremely expensive. So plan ahead i mean easily 100 Aed per person per plate of food. We opted to head to Nakheel Mall which is a 10 min drive away and shopped at the Waitrose for sandwich items, snacks and drinks and at night we either went out for dinner at the mall or ordered food online from Talabat.
Happy summer everyone
