Indigo - Dubai's Best Boutique Stay

Hotel Indigo, Dubai Downtown

I often find myself looking at the same names over and over when trying to find a hotel but after staying at Hotel Indigo last weekend, I’m going to be looking for this brand wherever I go. I loved it! With inspiration from the history of the Dubai creek, every inch of this hotel has meaning and a unique flair. If you haven’t made plans for the Eid break yet, I highly recommend making this your hotel of choice in Dubai.

Ps it's pet friendly! One lady checked in with 3 cats. Goals Rooms: It’s not often I get excited over a hotel room but I couldn’t stop talking about how funky, colorful and just fun these rooms were. A beautiful murial of clouds with Burj Khalifa emerging covered the back wall while the other wall was designed to look like an Emirates Cargo box - so cool! The bathroom was bright, white and sparkling clean - I loved the hand carved wooden sink unit, bringing modern and traditional together. The window stretched most of the room so we got a great view of the canal. There was also excellent black out curtains - I didn’t know where I was when I woke up Amenities: We spent Friday morning by the pool with a view of Burj Khalifa before heading off shopping. It was a lovely area, not too big but still spacious - and it was empty! There were lots of comfortable loungers including couples loungers, sun beds and fun shades swinging cubbies sitting just about the water. There’s an area with shade and the staff will help to pop up umbrella shades. A spa is also available inhouse. Location: Located literally a stones throw away from Dubai Mall, Hotel Indigo is a great location if you’re spending time in DIFC/Dubai Mall/Opera area. 15mins from Dubai airport, 20 mins from the palm, 1.1h from Yas Mall Dining & Bar: Off The Wall was a real hidden gem. Tucked away through a somewhat secret passage, the decor and style is that of a speakeasy. The bartender whipped us up some of their signature cocktails - the Mother Nature has earthy and floral flavours and the Bubblegum cocktail came in the coolest cup! Plus a great DJ too. Open Sesame, the all day dining, had both a dinner set menu and the breakfast buffet included a selection of cooked items as well as cereals, baked goods and healthy treats. Art: With an in house art director, this hotel takes art and decor to the next level. They provide art tours in the property which tell the story of the 200+ pieces that are spread across the hotel. Each floor is home to a collection of art from nominated local artists. The eye for detail in this hotel is amazing - if you look at the check-in desks alone, they’re all hand carved with elements such as the mother of Pearl as well as golden mosque designs. Staff were fantastic throughout our stay and honestly I couldn’t believe the value of the night.

Prices start from AED 300 and there are some great deals to take advantage of - for example Chillcation Offer - 35% off plus 120 AED dining voucher:
